Using your reports you should be able to detect trends in the types of visitors you receive and the content they're looking for. Using this valuable information you should be able to tailor your store's products and descriptions to better attract visitors. You can think of this much like window/sign dressing; sure, grey text on a black sign can be sophisticated, but if driver's can't read your sign then you're hurting your potential for attracting new customers. In a similar vein if you don't do your best to help search engines direct traffic to your site then you're hurting your online sales potential.
